Hey Spagato! If there's a Moomin representation in this fan-game, I would like to have Snufkin as a playable brawler, while Too-Ticky is an assist. Their character designs are a gestalt of the ones in the 90's Moomin anime and the 2024 indie game.
Snufkin would fit well, mainly because he's reponsible for committing crimes, as well as musical skills. So he could work as a thief/bard hybrid.
What version do you have downloaded? There was a critical change to the way saves worked in the old versions and it seems like it's still using 'SSave' extenstion that was removed in the new version.
Double check if you have the newest one first. Saves are located at "C:\Users\(yourusername)\AppData\Local\SaveNewgrounds". Try backing everything up then moving the old ssave files out.

Try going into the audio settings and clicking the reset button. For the frame rate, I recommend turning off some graphical settings since there are new post processing effects that might slow the game down.
I found it on my PC (I don’t know how it wasn’t there before) but on my Steam Deck it just says Ark can’t preview the folder. An update in the past has said it added semi Steam Deck support but I haven’t really understood what it’s instructions are
When making controls for the second character, You need atleast a jump key and a roll key. Pressing the jump key in the character select menu will add a second character.

1. Sounds in the new update have changed. Go to the audio settings and try pressing the reset button. 2. On the character select, it starts on your last character selected. 3. Double check your keyboard, sometimes the controls reset when I update the input system. Player 2 needs atleast a jump to join and a roll to back out. (Also clear any duplicate inputs from player 1 so that player 2 doesn't conflict also).
Also make sure you have the latest version downloaded! The newest version fixes performance issues and a memory leak!
So uhh all the 2 player things stopped lagging right after i wrought my message. I will try fixing sounds. Thank you so much for everything you do for us and your responsiveness! Rushdown Rivals is truly underrated project! I was waiting for release and updates since the update teaser in mid 2022. I wish you good luck and good things on your way to the better game!
Loved the update, although I do have a question. Is Cassette Girl's special nerfed? She can now get hit by bullets whenever it's used, unlike previous versions where you could dodge them

That's not normal. There's a workaround of that by just changing the window size and going back to where you were. Or you can go fullscreen and back.
I'll see if I can find that bug as soon as possible.
I’m trying to play this on my Steam Deck but I can’t find anything to start/excute the game

When you download the file, there should be a 'RushdownRivals.exe' file. Click that to run the game.

The ubuntu version hasn't been released yet which is what the steam deck can natively run. I'll try to release an ubuntu version asap.
The work around is to use steam if you have it. You can use 'add non-steam game' and use proton to run windows games natively
Game looks really good! It'd be neat to see characters like Tankman, Blockhead, Edd, and Fancy Pants Man in future updates!

For some reason, the Ena update version runs awful compared to older versions. It is not pc that is bad. So by "runs awful" I mean
1. No sounds except music
2. When I go to character selection, the game instantly rolls to alloy(but not chooses it)
3. 2nd player keyboard doesn't work(like he can't log in as a character, and we're playing on the same keyboard)
I am the same guy that reported about not working multiplayer in comments of an old video of yours. I love your game. Keep it up!

Oh that sounds like a bug! She's supposed to be invincible when using her special. I'll add that to my notes to fix.
